Our Story

We live on the Blue Planet; over 71% of our Earth, our home, is covered with water. And yet, we have learned more about outer space and are even racing to reach other planets, when there is still so much of our own that is yet to be explored.

It is this awareness that began the OceanQuest story; we wanted to establish a foundation that benefits humanity. Indeed, there is so much that the ocean and seas can teach us; the secrets of the deep, from new species to new materials, can advance human development in countless ways.

At OceanQuest, we cultivate a symbiotic relationship with our ocean and seas; we see the ocean and seas as our trusted partners and collaborators, as we facilitate discoveries in one of the world’s critically unexplored areas.

We believe that our ocean is our collective responsibility, and we are here to work with our partners in this space and lead the way, beginning our operations during the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, and enabling the entire ocean exploration ecosystem. We are here to engage with all the fellow inhabitants of our Blue Planet, learning together and exploring the unknown for the benefit of all.
